Wholesalers Mandating EPCS Now

Please encourage your doctors to join an EPCS platform.  We can assist in the education and setup.

As part of McKesson’s commitment to address the opioid epidemic, beginning on January 1, 2020, we will only sell controlled substances to pharmacies that can accept e-prescriptions. Electronic prescribing for controlled substances (EPCS) allows pharmacies to receive electronic prescriptions for controlled substances sent by healthcare providers.  Adoption of e-prescribing capability will help to prevent opioid abuse by reducing forged prescriptions.

Please complete the Attestation Document and return it to McKesson within ten business days. For your convenience, we are using DocuSign to allow you to sign electronically. Please sign electronically, and type in the additional information requested in the signature block. Once you complete the Attestation, you will receive a copy of the competed document via an email from DocuSign.

Thank you for being a valued McKesson customer. If you have any questions, please contact your McKesson Account Manager.
